Chain Reaction Ecommerce (CRE) announces the release of CRE Loaded 6.2 Patch 9 with many essential updates and fixes. Please download and install today for all 6.2 carts (Standard, Pro, Pro B2B).

The most significant update is Runtime Code Inclusion (RCI), which allows for "plug and play" module and modification additions to your CRE Loaded web store. RCI extends the framework of the CRE Loaded application so that code can be safely added to various places in the cart without hand-editing files. An RCI is simply a place on a page that runs code from files located in specific folders. CRE Loaded 6.2 Patch 09 introduces RCI to CRE Loaded base applications to allow for additional modifications and custom code, without ever worrying about the new additions overriding each other or a patch for the base application overwriting the modification's code. • Enhanced Credit Card : with CCV reporting in B2B.
• Corrected error-code parsing.
• Fixed a minor logic problem when sorting Specials by price.
• Changed header in automatic emails to use the Email From: address rather than the Store Owner Email address.
• Fixed various possible security breaches.
• Corrected potential database errors when installing a new language.
• Added validation for all AmEx cards.
• Fixed Includes/modules/xsell_products_buynow.php error 1064 xsell query.
• Added enhanced French language translation files.
• Corrected url issue that allowed prices to set to 0 when ordering.
• Changed the Forgotten password procedure so that it no longer asks for the user's first name.
• Added Reply to: field in the email header to ensure proper handling by all email servers
